How can my organization use Shared Folders?

Shared Folders bring several key benefits to your organization:

  • Simplify the sharing of documents for projects, teams, departments, external partners…
  • Make it easy to grant access to multiple folders to a group of people
  • Let you delegate access permissions management to people you trust in your organization
  • Ensure collaborators only see and access the folders they belong to
  • Make it easy to control the organization shared folder structure (only a few people can create shared folders)

Use case #1 – Shared Folders for Projects

You run several projects with different people involved in each project. In a typical setup:

  • The account admin grants Folder Manager permission to each project manager
  • The project managers create one or multiple Shared Folders
  • The project managers grant access to project members on Shared Folders they created

Use case #2 – Shared Folders for Departments

Several departments in your organization use Agilewords (Legal, Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, R&D).  In a typical setup:

  • The account admin grants Folder Manager permission to each department lead
  • The department leads  creates one or multiple Shared Folders
  • The department leads grant access to members of the department on Shared Folders they created

Use case #3 – Shared Folders for Clients

Several people in your organization need to collaborate with clients or external partners on business documents. In a typical setup:

  • The account admin grants Folder Manager permission to client managers
  • The client managers  create one Shared Folder per client
  • The client managers grant access to the client on Shared Folders they created
