How do I notify the document owner when my review is complete?

When the document owner explicitly requests you review a document, you see a Review done button in the document header.

If you click Review done, a feedback popup appears. You have three options to update the status of your review task:

  • I reviewed this document –sets the task status to complete
  • I am unable to review this document – sets the task status to declined
  • Not done yet, just providing feedback – keeps the task status unchanged

The message field lets you write a personalized message to the document owner (f.i.: explain why you decline the review).

When done, click Submit. An email notification is sent to the document owner and your task status is updated.

Pre-requisite: The document owner requested you approve a document.
