How do I approve a document?

When the document owner explicitly requests you approve a document, you see an Approve/Reject button in the document header.

If you click Approve/Reject a feedback popup appears. You have three options to update the status of your approval task:

  • I approve this document –sets the task status to complete
  • I reject this document – sets the task status to rejected
  • Not done yet, just providing feedback – keeps the task status unchanged

The message field lets you write a personalized message to the document owner (f.i.: explain why you rejected the document).

When done, click Submit. An email notification is sent to the document owner and your task status is updated.

Pre-requisite: The document owner requested you approve a document.
